Tiger’s Eye is a golden-brown banded variety ofquartzthat exhibits chatoyancy, or the “cat’s eye effect”–a luminous streak that moves as you rotate the stone.Facetingtiger eye can sometimes dull this effect, so usually it is worn as roundbeadsorcabochons.
